Ohad Moskowitz with Colin Schachat and The San Diego Jewish Men’s Choir
June 8 @ 7:30 pm | Congregation Beth Israel
Renowned singer Ohad Moskowitz, raised in Belgium and now residing in Israel, has an extraordinary voice and range. Ohad has performed on the world’s most prestigious stages. A heartfelt and electrifying singer of original, Chassidic, and traditional Jewish music, his performances have garnered millions of views.
The program also features acclaimed vocalist, Colin Schachat, celebrated for his wide-ranging repertoire and performances with the most iconic orchestras and singers, accompanied by Raymond Goldstein.
Plus a tribute to Rhoda Gaylis by The San Diego Jewish Men’s Choir under the direction of Ruth Hertz Weber. Returning from their triumphant sold-out performance at Carnegie Hall in memory of the choir’s beloved founder, Rhoda Gaylis (z”l).
“I’ve had the incredible treat of being just five feet in front of maestro, pop star, and chazzan Ohad Moskowitz as he led High Holiday prayers. I can’t fully describe how breathtaking his singing is. Ohad’s voice is as warm and inviting as he is as a person. He has extraordinary range and pours his heart and soul into every note of every melody. Whether it’s high-energy pop, soulful chassidic music, or our traditional prayers, his singing touches your heart and brings both joy and a deep sense of connection. Bravo, Ohad. We are so happy you’re performing in San Diego!”
